The fees

There is 2 type of fees.

• Withdrawal fees: When a position is closed (burn gAsset), 2%.

• Liquidation fees: When an asset undergoes liquidation, 1.5%.

The protocol determines these fees from the value of the gAsset when the minted assets are burned to reclaim the collateral. These collected fees are then transferred to a smart contract called the Grand Collector.

The Grand Collector

The Grand Collector is a component of the protocol that collects the fees generated by withdrawal and liquidation fees from the gAssests. These fees are then converted into USDC, and sent to the Grand Collector, which automatically purchases $GB tokens from the GB-USDC pool. These $GB tokens are then sent to provide rewards to xGB stakers.
